Make It Super Easy to Buy From You
As details on their new product were coming into focus, one challenge the Airthings team faced was how to showcase many compelling View Plus features on a website page with efficiency.
Why Settle for “Good Enough?”
Though they’d been happy with the design and performance of their current website pages, a desire to streamline the buyer’s journey led to brainstorming conversations with the Tomorrow People team.
Apply a Little ‘Blue Sky’ Thinking
Airthings wanted a flexible, mobile-responsive web page that would facilitate easy access to tech specs and ordering buttons for web visitors. After some research in how some other top brands had cracked the problem, the Tomorrow People team outlined a plan, along with some preliminary design comps.
Dare to Devise
Once designs were approved, our development team went to work, building a responsive page within HubSpot that featured some unique functionality – especially for mobile users. In addition to the primary navigation bar, we implemented a sub-navigation with a buy button that floats along the top of users’ screen even as they scroll up or down through the product images and descriptions.
Assemble with Care
By employing a few advanced coding techniques, including “scroll pinning,” the Tomorrow People development team was able to deliver what the Airthings team wanted while improving the user experience for all site visitors – and making it especially elegant for tablet and smartphone users.
Make Way for the New
What began as an idea to address a challenge for one new product has become a solution the Airthings team is looking to roll out across their site for all its products. This flexible, scalable, and mobile responsive web page design is now improving the customer journey for browsers and shoppers alike – while pre-order and sales numbers have jumped.
Airthings new, mobile-responsive, View Plus product page
“Though our primary goal was to showcase the compelling features, benefits, and design of our new flagship product, we also wanted to raise the bar for all future product pages. From design to build, Tomorrow People delivered, within a short timeframe and with excellence.”
