It’s good to talk
Acquia wanted to create a podcast to engage and capture the attention of their audience. The intention was never to drive sales or conversions; our brief was that it should be fun, informal, conversational, and captivating.
They asked for Tomorrow People’s help in bringing the podcast to life, from creative direction before the mics were on, to post production and editing.
Building the look and feel
Tomorrow People’s creative director worked with Acquia to create a style guide that captured the spirit of the podcast. This style guide included:
- Logo
- Visual style
- Intro and outro sequences
- Transitions and animations
- Music and jingles
- Tips for future recordings
The finishing touches
Although the podcast’s regular hosts, James and Tom, work in the tech space, the conversations rarely stick to technological topics. The chat typically goes off on wild tangents, punctuated with hysterical laughter and personal anecdotes.
We captured this lighthearted atmosphere with careful post production for every episode of the first season, including creating short snippets for promotional activities.
We’re delighted that The Open Sauce podcast has been renewed for a second season, featuring more guests including Dries Buytaert, the founder of Drupal.
